1. Why a dream needs a time and a place
"Someday" is where many dreams go to wait. Not because the person does not care, but because nothing in the week has room for it. The gym, the job, the family and the commute all have a spot. The dream has none.
Two small habits help. First, see your deadlines laid out, so a goal due on Friday does not arrive as a surprise. Second, protect a few fixed blocks in your day so your routine has a shape. When the shape is steady, it is easier to slot a 15-minute action into it (the idea behind the 15-minute rule).
TheXinA gives each habit its own tool. You see the first on the Calendar and the second on the Timetable.
2. Two parts: the Calendar and the Timetable
They live on the same Calendar page, but they do different jobs.
| Calendar events | Timetable blocks | |
|---|---|---|
| What it holds | Your Missions, goals and actions that have a deadline | Your own routine, such as "Morning exercise" |
| Where it comes from | Your plan. Nothing to enter twice | You add it, with a name, a start, an end, a colour and an optional note |
| How it repeats | Sits on its own deadline day | A fixed column, the same every day |
The events are the "what" from your plan: a dream becomes a Mission, then goals, then small actions (see Missions, Goals & Actions). The timetable is the "when" of your ordinary day.
3. Reading the Calendar, view by view
Pick a view with the chips at the top: 3 Days, Week, 2 Weeks or Month. Use the arrows to step back and forward, and the Today button to jump back to now.
- 3 Days: the closest look. Each day is a time grid, and a line marks the current time on today.
- Week and 2 Weeks: the same time grid across 7 or 14 days, good for spotting a crowded Thursday early.
- Month: a classic month grid. Each day shows a few small chips and a "+N more" note when there are extras. Tap a day and it opens in the 3-day view.
Each item is drawn as a block that ends at its deadline. Its length comes from the duration you set, and if there is none, it shows as one hour. Tap a block to see its name, time, and the goal and Mission it belongs to. From there you can mark a goal or action complete, or open it in its Mission. Finished items turn grey and are crossed out, so the page also shows what you have already done.
4. Building your daily Timetable
In the time-grid views there is a fixed timetable column on the left. It holds the blocks of a normal day: wake up, work, lunch, evening walk, whatever is yours. Tap an empty spot in the column to add a block at that time, or use the plus button.
Each block has a name, a start and end time (in 5-minute steps), a colour from eight choices, and an optional note. The end must be after the start. Tap a block later to edit or delete it.
One honest detail: the Timetable is a simple, fixed daily routine. It is not a meeting scheduler, and it does not send invites. Its job is to make your day visible, so you can see where a 15-minute action fits.
5. How to set it up, step by step
- Give your actions deadlines. Only items with a deadline appear on the Calendar. If you are starting from a dream, this guide shows how to reach goals and actions first.
- Open Calendar from the menu and start in Week view to see the shape of your days.
- Add 4 to 6 timetable blocks for the fixed parts of your day. Keep it rough; you can edit later.
- Find the gaps. Look for one open stretch of 15 to 30 minutes and aim your next action there.
- Use it with the rest. Your morning plan from the AI daily planner suggests what to do today, and Focus Mode gives the chosen action a quiet timer.
6. When it fits, when it does not, and which plan
A good fit if you
Think visually, like to see the whole week, or keep missing deadlines because they hide in a list. It also helps people whose days are fairly regular.
Not the best fit if you
Need to schedule meetings with other people, or want two-way sync with another calendar app. The Calendar shows what is inside TheXinA only.
The plan comparison does not list the Calendar as a paid feature. See what each plan includes for the current details. TheXinA works on the web today and installs to your home screen on iOS and Android. Native apps are coming soon.
